Andrews Institute provides a free Student-Athlete Injury Clinic 8-10 a.m. each Saturday • Aug. 23 - Nov. 8, 2014 The physicians and certified athletic trainers that staff the Injury Clinic provide free injury assessments to athletes on a walk–in basis. Many of these athletes participated in a sporting event the evening before and either didn’t have medical attention on–site or awoke to grueling pain that needed urgent care. Additional information about free injury evaluations provided to student athletes by an orthopedic physician and certified athletic trainer includes: Walk–in care available. No appointment is necessary. Arrive from 8–10 a.m. on Saturdays throughout football season. Be sure to bring signed parental consent forms, or arrive with your parents, as well as insurance information (in case attention beyond the evaluation is necessary, such as an X–Ray).

BOARD ELECTIONS

It is that time of year that the NRQBC will be accepting nominations for the 2015 board. If you are interested in running. Please submit nomination for President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Treasurer by the first week of November via e-mail or in person at Tuesday, Nov 4, 6:30pm NRQBC meeting. Nominee must be an active member in good standing. Section 2. TERM OF OFFICE: The term of office for officers shall be one year. Officers will be nominated the first week of November and elected by the end of the second week of November. New officers assume responsibilities on January 1st after proper turnover of all official duties.

POST GAME ENTERTAINMENT

COME JOIN POST GAME FUN AT ROCCO’S ITALIAN BISTRO JUST LOCATED OVER THE NAVARRE BRIDGE ON THE BEACH, WILL BE HOSTING THE POST GAME MEAL. FREE PIZZA AND DRINKS FOR ALL NAVARRE VARSITY CHEERLEADERS AND FOOTBALL PLAYERS. EVERYONE INVITED TO JOIN AND WATCH THE PREP FOOTBALL FINAL ON WEAR CHANNEL 3 FOR THE HIGHLIGHTS OF LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL GAMES.
